Job summary

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare in Flowood, Mississippi seeks a dynamic Driver PRN to transport patients to and from the facility, provide continuous observation, and model safe, therapeutic interactions. You will collaborate with activity therapists, social workers and nurses to maintain the patient program schedule and support treatment plans throughout the day.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and BLS and de-escalation certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license applicable to transporting patients.
• Driving record must meet or exceed the facility standards.
• BLS and De-escalation Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the facility.
• Provide continuous observation and interaction with patients.
• Work closely with nurses, social workers and activity therapists to support the program.
• Assist staff nurses in psychiatric and physical treatment and care of patients.
• Maintain safety and appropriate boundaries while engaging with patients.
