UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks dedicated individuals to join as casual Transport Monitor Technicians. You will safely transport patients, operate medical equipment, and support emergency response teams in a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, documenting patient information, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and dignity throughout transport. This is a shift-based, on-site role with exposure to critical care procedures.

Qualifications

• Performs patient transport using wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, or assist devices.
• Operates and assists with IVs, oxygen tanks, heart monitors, transport monitors and related equipment.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation of transport activities.

Responsabilités

• Uses proper procedures regarding IVs, oxygen tanks, heart monitors, transport monitors, ventilators and other medical equipment.
• Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, specialty bed or assists with the transport of ambulatory patients.
• Responds to Code Blue, Rapid Response and Stroke Alerts and Orderly Stat calls.
• Performs/assists with patient data and ticket-to-ride documentation.
• Maintains aseptic, safe environment and participates in QA/QI activities.
