Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a full-time Patient Transporter to move patients across the hospital, assist with helicopter transports, and transfer deceased patients to the morgue. You will respond quickly to code blue and patient fall incidents, ensuring safety and care as directed by nursing staff.

Reliable customer service and the ability to work the day shift are essential. Rotating weekends/holidays may be required by the department, with benefits eligibility from day one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transports patients throughout the hospital and assists with in-coming helicopter transports and morgue transfers.
• Responds to code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) and initiates chest compressions.
• Responds to patient falls and other emergent situations.
• Completes assigned tasks within department expectations and supports daily workflow.
