Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated driver to transport residents in Mandan, ND, ensuring safety and compassionate service for seniors in a Christian not-for-profit environment.

You will handle patient/resident transfers, maintain equipment, and complete DOT records while coordinating with scheduling and care teams. You must be 21+, hold a valid license, and obtain BLS within six months; a rounded benefits package accompanies full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have excellent customer service skills.
• Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• The employee must have a current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. If not certified at time of hire, must be certified within six months. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Transports safely and as scheduled.
• Sets up equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and internal policy.
• Maintains appropriate records per Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and internal required reports.
• Aware and communicates scheduling conflicts as needed or predicted.
