Job summary

Goldwater Care Clinton is seeking a Transportation Driver responsible for safely transporting patients to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers, and private residences. You will operate the company vehicle, assist patients during transfers, and ensure timely arrival and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include communicating with facilities, navigating with GPS, and performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections while maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and accurate logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Illinois Driver’s License required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely in company vehicle.
• Assist patients as needed during transfers.
• Communicate with facilities about schedule progress and instructions.
• Use GPS and radio or cell phone to navigate.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Maintain accurate activity and vehicle logs.
