Responsibilities

• Safely escort and transport patients between locations.
• Ensure timely, compassionate transportation and connect patients with family or housing/shelter resources.
• Maintain a safe, clean transport environment and report behavioral concerns to supervisor.
• Communicate infectious/disease control issues and follow advised outcomes.
• Prepare equipment prior to discharge route; ensure route does not exceed 8 hours without approval.
• Follow all policies and procedures as written.
