Job summary

Bethany Care Center is seeking a dedicated driver to join our team. You will safely operate the assigned vehicle and assist residents entering and exiting, while securing mobility devices and providing compassionate support.

The role emphasizes safe transport, adherence to instructions, and basic vehicle maintenance. Experience with individuals with disabilities or long-term care is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and support up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to locate geographic areas and follow directions.
• Ability to follow oral/written instructions and keep records.
• Experience with residents with disabilities or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the assigned motor vehicle.
• Interact with patients/residents of a nursing home facility.
• Assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Ensure passengers are safely seated and secure mobility devices.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report needs for service or repair.
