SSTAR in Fall River, MA is seeking an entry‑level Driver to support transportation for clients, run agency errands, and assist on the detox unit when needed. This 30-hour‑per‑week role offers a stable schedule and the chance to contribute to a broad health‑care mission.

Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, flexibility with hours, and solid physical and emotional health. The position provides a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to earn CEUs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must have good driving record.
• Must be flexible with hours, as per need of the units.
• Show evidence of good physical and emotional health.

Responsibilities

• Keep a current, organized appointment schedule for clients’ appointments. Attempt to make arrangements for alternative driver during time off.
• Transport clients to and from appointments that are places on their calendar, work with nurses, counselors and unit coordinators to arrange appropriate driving schedule.
• Provide coverage on either detox unit if so required.
• Perform agency errands, bank runs, post office and deliveries.
• Other duties as required.
