Job summary

College Medical Center is seeking a Program Aide (Driver) to transport patients and staff to appointments, outings and emergencies in a safe manner. The driver will perform all errands as assigned and carry out STAT requests immediately.

The Program Aide will protect health information per HIPAA and follow all applicable local and state laws. The team emphasizes respect, warmth, flexibility, and autonomy in daily duties.

Qualifications

• CA driver license with good DMV record required.
• Class B or C with passenger endorsement; permit on hire.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Health care transporting experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR (AHA) completed within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of local roads, safety and vehicle maintenance.
• Flexible, reliable with professional appearance and guest relations.
• Motivated to assist and identify patient needs during transport.
