Job summary

Veyo in Houston, TX is seeking drivers to transport patients to non-emergency medical appointments using their own vehicle. You set your own schedule as an independent contractor, with opportunities to earn up to $25 per hour and a weekly payout. Sign-up bonuses and a guarantee may apply for new drivers.

Applicants must be 21+, have three years of U.S. driving history, a clean driving record, Texas license, vehicle registration, insurance, and a 4-door 2006+ car.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid Texas driver’s license and vehicle registration.
• Own a 4-door vehicle, 2006 or newer.
• Be proficient in English.
• Pass a background check and drug screening where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Open the Veyo Driver App and log on.
• Accept a trip request.
• Pick up the passenger at the specified location.
• Drop off the passenger at the specified location.
• Repeat driving and earning while serving healthcare appointments.

To Apply, You Must

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have at least 3 years of driving history in the U.S.
• Have a clean driving record
• Have a valid Texas driver's license
• Have valid Texas vehicle registration
• Have valid Texas vehicle insurance
• Own a 4-door vehicle, 2006 or newer (no pickup trucks or coupes)
• Own an iPhone or Android smartphone (see compatible devices)
• Be proficient in English
• Be able to pass a background check
• Be able to pass a drug screening where applicable
• VeyoRide recommends having a rideshare endorsement
• Houston Only: Certification from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Reporting Suspected Abuse or Neglect of a Child
