Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas seeks a Patient Placement and Transfer Coordinator RN to streamline transfers across the system. The role focuses on facilitating physicians and consumers access to Methodist hospitals via the PPTC, aligning with clinical improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a BSN (ADN with waiver considered), has at least three years of healthcare experience and a current Texas RN license.

Competenze

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
BSN required, waiver may be granted for ADN with equivalent experience and Director Approval.
3+ years healthcare experience; at least 2 years in acute hospital setting, preferably Adult Critical Care.
Current Texas RN license to practice.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Mansioni

Manages day-to-day PPTC calls and coordinates patient placement and transfer with physicians, RNs, and other departments while complying with regulations.
Ensures PPTC calls follow standards and reports quality issues to QA.
Matches patient needs with system resources to optimize service value.
Provides follow-up communications with internal and external customers to meet stakeholder needs.
Ensures PPTC workflows meet documentation, format, and timelines; reports trends to management and identifies improvement opportunities.
Uses problem-solving to determine the best course of action for patients, physicians, and hospital.
Demonstrates high levels of customer service on every call; adheres to PPTC defined response times.
