Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and seamless experience at the front desk. You will manage scheduling, check-in, and basic administrative tasks to support workflow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong communication skills, with a customer-service mindset, confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure. Training will be provided post-hire.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy policy/procedure.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Position requires standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience.
