Job summary

Medical City McKinney is hiring a PRN Patient Support Ambassador to deliver trays, explain procedures to new patients, and resolve guest concerns with a focus on safety and teamwork.

The role requires strong customer service experience and a Food Handlers Permit obtained within 30 days of start date. Training will cover AM/PM duties and infection control policies, in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a restaurant, hotel, hospital or concierge/guest services preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely tray delivery service to all assigned patients on their units.
• Explain FANS procedures to new patients.
• Actively resolve customer and/or guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Follow established safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Communicate with nurses and dietitians and other healthcare team members.
• Effectively train new Hosts/Hostesses on AM and PM duties.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Represent FANS in an exemplary manner by adhering to ALWAYS and Code of Conduct.

• Provide timely tray delivery service to all assigned patients on their units
• Explain FANS procedures to new patients
• Actively resolve customer and/or guest concerns in a timely manner
• Follow established safety, HACCP, and infection control policies and procedures
• Communicate with members of the healthcare team, including nurses and dietitians
• Effectively train new Hosts/Hostesses on relevant AM and PM duties
• Perform other duties as assigned
