Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro is seeking a Patient Sitter for the Float Pool. Under RN supervision, you will closely observe patients, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a busy hospital setting.

The role supports the nursing team and promotes a therapeutic milieu. Prior nursing assistant training and BLS certification at hire are preferred, with 1 year healthcare experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS certification required at hire.
• Nursing Assistant training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide close observation of patients under RN supervision.
• Assist in creating a safe, clean environment and promote therapeutic milieu.
• Assist with activities of daily living unless the patient requires assistance due to health risks.
• Support nursing staff and participate in Shared Leadership as applicable.
