Providence Little Company Of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA, is seeking a Patient Sitter for the Float Pool on a Full Time, Variable shift. The role centers on closely observing patients under RN supervision and maintaining a safe, clean environment to support nursing care.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living and contributing to a therapeutic milieu while aligning with Providence’s commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Competenze

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Training in Nurses Aide course or Health Care Assistant.
• 1 year Health Care experience.

Patient Sitter - Float Pool at Providence Little Company Of Mary in San Pedro, CA. This is a Full Time Variable shift position.

Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic milieu and the efficiency of the nursing team. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, unless the patient needs are such that adverse health consequences are predictable. Supports System and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership.

Required Qualifications:
