Job summary

This role involves blood collection using various techniques, urine drug screen collections, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma, a Phlebotomy Certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This position offers a 3-month contract with pay based on experience, and shifts from Monday to Saturday, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Possess the ability and skills necessary for training and orientation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood from patients using venipuncture or capillary techniques.
• Perform urine drug screen collections and paternity collections.
• Maintain logs/records and administrative duties.
• Pediatric blood collections and difficult draws.
• Maintain compliance and safety, and train staff as needed.
• Answer phones, maintain logs, and manage records.

• Blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Urine drug screen collections
• Paternity collections
• LCM/Cyber Tools
• TestCup
• Pediatric Blood Collections
• Difficult draws (patients in various facilities)
• Must have comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees
• Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training
• Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
• Operate personal computer

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+yrsExperience
• Phlebotomy Certification with 2+ yrs Experience
• Normally requires a Valid Driver’s License, along with a clean driving record; may qualify as a floater
• Legal Authorization to Work in the US

Additional Information

Pay Rate: DOE

Shift: Monday-Saturday, 7AM-10AM (+24 Hour On Call)

*3+ Month Contract*
