Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food-service experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food-service operations.
• Knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with management, clients, customers, and associates.
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet).
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient and client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Provide alternatives to menu items on prescribed diets, accommodating allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Interact with nursing staff and evaluate daily meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes.
• Resolve patient concerns or complaints immediately and report issues to the supervisor as appropriate.
• Assist with all food-service related activities, primarily patient meal assembly and delivery, including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
