Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to support the operation and customer service of the Food & Nutrition Services Department in a healthcare setting. This entry-level manager role offers growth opportunities within the healthcare food service industry.

You will help ensure patient satisfaction, coordinate meal service with nursing, and support sanitation, quality, and dietary compliance in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Experience in hospitals, dining, or related operations.
• Some knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, and presentation.
• Supervisory and coaching skills.
• Communication skills written and verbal with management, clients, and staff.
• MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient and client satisfaction meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Provides menu alternatives respecting diets, allergies, and cultural preferences.
• Interacts with nursing to evaluate and deliver patient meals and trays.
• Resolves patient concerns promptly and/or reports to supervisor.
• Assists with food service activities including sanitation and infection control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: As a Patient Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful operation and customer service of the Food & Nutrition Services Department. The role presents an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entry‑level manager seeking a career in the food service industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures patient and client satisfaction meeting and exceeding stated expectations.
• Provides alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diets in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences when patients inquire or need additional selections.
• Interacts with nursing and evaluates daily patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval processes.
• Resolves patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or reports concerns to supervisor as appropriate.
• Assists with all food service related activities, primarily involved in patient meal assembly and delivery; includes quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and all facility–related activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Some knowledge of food trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to communicate with management, client, customer, and associate levels.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
