Job summary

Providence is seeking a Care Access Liaison within the Patient Engagement Center to provide patient-centered access and navigation across facilities and clinics. You will assist with scheduling, class enrollments, and patient information resources while supporting high-touch engagement with diverse patient needs.

The role requires 2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred), plus 2 years of phone-based customer interaction. A 1-year technical support background is preferred.

The Care Access Liaisons provide patient-centered, coordinated access to the complex network of facilities, institutes, and clinics. As they do so, they foster and nurture relationships with existing patients and those seeking treatment. Care Access includes 'find a physician' navigation within a health network, scheduling appointments and classes, providing tier 1 technical support with patient health applications, and functioning as an entry point and informational resource for patients into the health system. This position is part of the Patient Engagement Center (PEC) team, which provides high-touch, personalized assistance to patients across Providence St. Joseph Health regions and provider networks.
