Job summary

Koch Eye Associates, Inc. is seeking a courteous Patient Service Representative - Float based in Warwick, RI.

The role supports patient registration, scheduling, data entry, insurance verification, and payments, and may travel to other Koch Eye locations as needed. You will work with our eye care team to ensure accurate records in the practice management system, educate patients about benefits, and maintain efficient service in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on compliance and patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration, scheduling, data entry and processing.
• Educates patients regarding benefits and collects patient payments, at point of service.
• Complete and accurate management of patient data in practice management system.
• Verify health insurances and obtain referrals.
• Organize and maintain medical records.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks including, but not limited to scheduling, transportation, filing, faxing, etc.
• Must have a clear understanding of company policies including the company manual
