Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide patient support services such as answering phones and directing calls.
Greet patients/visitors and maintain patient medical records.
Assist with patient scheduling and handle patient payments as applicable.
Monitor length of patient’s wait and notify appropriate parties.
Perform check-out processes including co-pay collections.
Track and record patient information or program data.
Schedule appointments and handle referrals.
Maintain cash drawer and prepare bank deposits.
Contact insurance companies for registration or procedural pre-certifications.
