Job summary

Revo Health in West Saint Paul seeks a Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration, check-in, and essential clinical support duties. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, with hours between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM at the West St.

Paul location, contributing to a team within the Therapy Department of i-Health. The position requires a High School diploma or GED, proficiency in Word/Outlook/Excel, and strong customer service experience, with administrative or medical office

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management.
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties including handling and transferring calls and coordinating interpreters for clinic appointments.
• Assist with other duties such as cleaning, laundry, rooming patients, prepping patients for appointments.

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.

This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday, various hours between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM out of our West St. Paul location. OSI is a physical therapy brand within the Therapy Department of TCO, the Orthopedic Division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
• Chart preparation and management
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals
• Any and all other duties as assigned such as cleaning, laundry, rooming patients, prepping patients for appointments, etc.

Education And Experience Requirements

Working Conditions

• Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
