Job summary

Revo Health in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative to register patients, collect payments and provide clinical support across our Eagan and Burnsville sites.

This 0.3 FTE role requires excellent customer service, proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel, accurate insurance verification, scheduling, and clear communication with patients and clinic staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events
• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Job description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.

This is a part-time (0.3 FTE) position, working every other Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM between our Eagan and Burnsville locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients

Benefits & Compensation

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
• A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
