Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, handling front-desk operations and documentation. You will verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinic workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, EMR experience (EPIC preferred), and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach. Some weekend and travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients and visitors with a positive attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing important patient and business documents.
• Insurance Verification: Analyze health insurance benefits, verify eligibility, and provide patients with relevant payment policies and billing/collection information.
