Corewell Health in Zeeland is seeking a part-time Patient Access Specialist to greet patients, assist with registrations, and manage scheduling with an emphasis on quality care access. You will support physicians, staff, and patients across contact channels including calls, chat, and email.
The role emphasizes accuracy in demographic and insurance data, while maintaining patient records and supporting safety initiatives across the unit. A HS diploma and relevant experience are required.
Shift and status: Part time, variable days and every other weekend
Assist and educate patients, providers, medical office staff, and/or health system staff with accessing services, facilitating and resolving problems, understanding navigation questions. Consistently create an exceptional experience with each contact, via inbound and outbound calls, online chat, email, etc. Adheres to established procedure and quality guidelines in support of Patient Access Services Center performance indicators, as well as Corporate values and codes of excellence.
