Shady Grove Fertility in Stony Point, Virginia is seeking a Patient Service Representative to handle patient accounts, scheduling, and front-office duties. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and efficient management of insurance data within a busy OB/GYN setting.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with some float between offices, and an hourly compensation of $20–$22 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing.
• Strong communication skills, independent worker, detailed-oriented, computer savvy.
• High level of customer service essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information.
• Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum patient needs and scheduling accordingly.
• Schedule appointments.
• Address customer/patient issues and insure effective short-term and long-term resolution.
• Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns.
• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial options.
• Greet patients and visitors to the office and providing high level of customer service.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Patient Service Representative to join our team at Shady Gove Fertility in Stony Point, Virginia.

• Schedule: Monday though Friday, between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Will occasionally float to our Henrico office
• Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour (commensurate with experience)
