Job summary

Motion PT Group in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our front desk team. You will manage check-ins and scheduling, assist referrals, and contribute to a friendly patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic office and customer service skills required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Verify insurance, process authorizations, and collect payments to ensure smooth billing and patient access to care.
• Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the EMR system, and preparing necessary documents.
• Answer calls, assist patients, and uphold HIPAA compliance to ensure a welcoming healthcare experience.

Patient Services Representative

Job Location: 4250 Hempstead Turnpike Bethpage, NY

Job Type:Full-Time(Mon and Weds 11am-7pm, Tues and Thurs 7am-3pm and Friday 10am-6pm ; 40 hours per week. Will further discuss work schedule during interview.)

Salary: $19.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

You’ll achieve success by:

• Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while delivering exceptional customer service
