This role is crucial in maintaining patient satisfaction and supporting the healthcare team's efforts in delivering quality care. Key Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment. - Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with healthcare providers to optimize clinic operations. - Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and assistance. - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations and policies. - Assist patients with the registration process, verifying insurance information, and updating personal details as necessary. - Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise. - Handle billing and payment processing, explaining charges and assisting patients with financial inquiries. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient services. - Ensure compliance with Crescent Community Health Center's standards and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.## QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is required.Preferred Education - An associate degree or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient services or customer service roles.Preferred Experience: - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable. - Previous experience in a community health center or similar environment is advantageous.
