Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients to the Therapist or Therapist Assistant.
• Record patient information and copy insurance cards.
• Submit face sheets to HIM and Business Office; answer phones and distribute messages.
• Schedule patients for therapy and obtain insurance authorization.
• Administer therapeutic modalities under supervision and assist with exercises as directed by therapists.
• Observe patient responses and communicate progress to therapy staff.
