Job summary

Ovation Fertility in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator / Laboratory Assistant to join US Fertility's nationwide network. You will welcome patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and support embryology and IVF workflows in a hands-on clinical setting.

This full-time on-site role offers a stable schedule—Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with 12 Saturdays and 5 holidays yearly, and occasional travel to the New Braunfels location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related science field is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with office procedures and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to the office.
• Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls.
• Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls when necessary.
• Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries.
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information.
• Support embryologists with all aspects of IVF processes.
• Assist with andrology procedures such as IUI preparation and semen analysis.
• Assist with specimen discards in the laboratory.
• Maintain lab area: integrity of media, collection, and semen processing data; record embryo production data; ensure labeling and traceability.
• Assist with lab maintenance; sanitize areas and follow LN2 protocols; maintain equipment and processing areas.
• Perform general office duties and other tasks as requested by physicians, director, and embryologists.
