Job summary

US Fertility in San Antonio, Texas, seeks a Patient Services Coordinator / Laboratory Assistant to welcome patients, manage calls, schedule appointments, and support embryology and lab activities. The role combines frontline patient care with critical lab support in a dynamic fertility environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a Biology-related Bachelor's degree, have healthcare or lab experience, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related science field.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors.
• Answer and route incoming calls.
• Schedule appointments and perform follow-up calls.
• Provide accurate information and excellent customer service to patients.
• Maintain patient accounts with personal, financial, and insurance details.
• Support embryologists with IVF processes.
• Assist with andrology procedures (IUI prep, semen analysis).
• Assist with specimen discards in the lab.
• Maintain media integrity, data recording for oocyte collection and embryo production, and traceability.
• Assist with lab maintenance and sanitation; follow LN2 protocols and maintain equipment and glassware.
• Perform general office duties as requested by physicians and staff.
