Patient Services Coordinator (Medical Office) – Willow Grove, PA. Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No Weekends.
We are a growing Prosthetics & Orthotics healthcare company dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. We are currently seeking a Patient Services Coordinator with 1–3 years of medical office experience to join our Willow Grove team. This position plays a key role in coordinating patient services, communicating with insurance companies, and supporting daily office operations. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding services and benefits
- Perform insurance verification and obtain prior authorizations
- Prepare work orders and required patient documentation
- Organize and submit patient charts for billing processing
- Maintain accurate patient records using office systems
- Assist with patient coordination and service flow within the office
- Provide professional customer service to patients and visitors
- Assist with front desk coverage when needed
- Perform general office duties including phones, scanning, faxing, and email communication
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of medical office experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be computer savvy and comfortable learning new software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with insurance verification or prior authorizations
- Experience using general office equipment (phones, scanners, copiers, fax machines)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidential patient information
Preferred (Not Required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology or anatomy
- Experience in prosthetics & orthotics, orthopedic, rehabilitation, or durable medical equipment (DME) settings
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
