Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a Full-time Front Desk Coordinator to join our endoscopy center. You will welcome patients in person or on the phone, check them in for procedures, and direct inquiries while

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Previous gMed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers multiple phone lines and directs calls.
• Responds to patient questions, including billing, promptly.
• Enters patient registration into EMR accurately.
• Prepares chart and forms for procedures.
• Scans completed procedure packets into EMR.
• Reviews records for accuracy and notifies staff of issues.
• Collects copays and balances due.
• Processes and prepares outgoing mail with attention to accuracy.
• Maintains inventory of office supplies.
• Keeps reception area neat and clean.
