BRCC is seeking a professional medical office receptionist to greet patients, collect and verify documents, update demographics and insurance details, and manage front-desk duties in a fast-paced oncology/hematology clinic setting.
The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Employees may handle scheduling, co-pays, and HIPAA-compliant record keeping daily.
Professionally greets and welcomes patients and their friends/family. Answers, screens, and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel relaying messages between patients and clinical staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in‑person interaction with co‑workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
The general pay scale for this position at BRCC is $12.94–$19.91. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.
