Job summary

US Fertility is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for the RMA of New York in Downtown, Manhattan. The role handles front-desk tasks, appointment scheduling, patient communications, and chart preparation while ensuring accurate insurance information and timely payments.

You will join a nationally respected network of fertility centers and support ongoing patient care with a collaborative team. A high school diploma and comfort with Microsoft Office are required, with college degrees

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
  • Strong verbal and reading skills.
  • Basic familiarity with computers and office devices.
  • Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Medical office experience is a plus; interest in reproductive medicine required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare charts; ensure forms are used properly.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Coordinatorto join our team atRMA of New Yorkin Downtown, New York.

  • Schedule:Monday through Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time with a weekend rotation at the Eastside office on Madison Ave (6:45 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with shift times assigned based on practice needs) and two holidays per year.
  • Compensation: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the Patient Services Coordinator will:

  • Interacting with patients; practicing effective, courteous communication
  • Working the front desk
  • Answering telephone and scheduling appointments
  • Preparing charts; consistently ensuring appropriate forms are used
  • Collecting patient payments due at the time of service; verifying accurate insurance information
  • Good judgement and takes initiative.
  • Interpersonal Skills: approachable, outgoing, and exhibit a professional disposition.
  • Passionate about providing excellent patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
