Job summary

US Fertility is seeking a full-time Third-Party Donor Coordinator at RMA of New York, Eastside Manhattan. You will schedule donor and recipient appointments, coordinate prescreening/testing with physicians, and support nursing teams in treatment coordination.

You will work with a nationwide network of over 200 physicians, receive on-site training, and may travel to satellites as needed. A biology-related bachelor's degree and strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or related sciences is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and medical database software.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and work well with a team or independently.
  • Travel to satellites may be required; on-site training at Eastside office.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule donor patient and/or recipient appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Communicate with patients and physicians.
  • Assist with coordination of prescreening/testing with physician orders.
  • Assist the patient with prescreening or testing appointments as needed.
  • Maintain prescreening/testing checklists with clinical protocols.
  • Provide treatment coordination and knowledge of prescription medications.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Third-Party DonorCoordinator to join our team atRMA of New York in Eastside Manhattan, New York .

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Compensation:$23.08 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Third-Party Donor Coordinator will
  • Schedule patient (donor patient and/or recipient couple) appointments in person or by telephone
  • Communication with patients and physicians
  • Assists with coordination of needed prescreening/testing in conjunction with physician orders and under the guidance of the nursing team members
  • Assists the patient with making prescreening or testing appointments as needed
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining patient prescreening and testing checklists in conjunction with clinical protocols
  • Provide treatment coordination
  • Will have knowledge of prescription medications

Qualifications and Skills Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry or other related sciences is required
  • Should be organized, critical thinkers, detail-oriented, self-motivator, adaptable and able to multitask, compassionate, and have an interest in reproductive medicine/ women’s health
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and medical database software is required
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to learn new terminology and systems is required; A thorough teaching of reproductive anatomy will be part of initial training for this position, and understanding will be needed to excel; Travel to our various satellites may be required
  • Training is on-site at our Eastside office, with placement at the Eastside office
