AO specializes in treating a variety of cancers including lymphoma lung, breast, prostate, gynecologic, colorectal and head and neck cancers. Our physicians and staff are multi-disciplinary team of highly experiencedcaregivers focused on helping patients and their families receive the best care and support possible.
SCOPE: Professionally greets and welcomes patients and their friends/family. Registers and schedules appointments for patients in a efficient and timely manner. Answers, screens, and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel relaying messages between patients and clinical staff. Performs general business office functions that may include some or all the following: patient payment posting; insurance verification and eligibility; obtain and/or enter referrals; and account follow-up and payment resolution. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
