Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in Falls Church, VA. This full-time role coordinates patient flow, verifies insurance, obtains authorizations, and supports billing and scheduling to keep the practice efficient and caring.

You will act as the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring accuracy, privacy, and timely communication while supporting ongoing professional development and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.

Qualifications & Pay Range

Your Responsibilities as a Patient Service Coordinator

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (experience with healthcare preferred).

Pay Range: $22-24.75/hour (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
