The US Oncology Network
is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Texas Oncology. This full-time position will support our South Austin clinic at 4101 James Casey.
This position can be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on relevant work experience.

What does the Patient Services Coordinator do? (including but not limited to)
The Patient Service Coordinator professionally greets and welcomes patients and their families, registers and schedules appointments efficiently, answers and screens calls, and supports compliance with the US Oncology standards and policies.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, check in patients, and inform clinical staff of patient arrivals.
- Provide and explain paperwork, collect and verify forms, update patient information, and handle payments.
- Respond to routine questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages accurately.
- Check out patients, schedule follow-up appointments, and provide appointment details.
- Record cancellations and reschedules, notify staff, and document in patient charts.
- Support administrative tasks, maintain the lobby area, and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Level 1: High school diploma, some receptionist or office experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and completion of required e-learning courses within 90 days.
Level 2: At least 18 months front office experience with insurance and scheduling software.
Level Sr: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
