Job summary

Physicians Premier Emergency Room in Houston, Missouri City, is seeking a friendly Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, and collect payments due at service. You will provide admin support to the Nurse Manager and staff, enter patient data, manage records, and maintain supplies.

A high school diploma and 2 years of clerical experience are required; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of clerical support experience.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients for evaluation and treatment.
• Verifies benefits and HIPAA consent forms; collects payment receipts.
• Enters patient information and census data in E-Power; maintains records.
• Provides medical records to other providers with signed releases.
• Keeps work area clean and stocked with supplies; logs cash receipts.
