Job summary

United Health Services is seeking a per diem Patient Access Clerk for the Emergency Department at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital in New York. The role focuses on collecting accurate demographic and insurance information from patients with a service-oriented approach.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and basic computer and customer service skills. CPR and prior health care experience are preferred; benefits are not provided for this position.

Position Overview

Performs clerical duties in a very professional and service-oriented manner. Primarily responsible for obtaining accurate demographic and insurance information from patients.

Emergency Department, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital

Work Shift And Schedule

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range

$17.98 - $25.17 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Minimum Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer and customer service skills.

Preferred

• Prior Health care experience and CPR.
