RadNet in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointments in a fast-paced radiology environment.

The role emphasizes patient-first service, accurate documentation, and collaboration with back-office staff to ensure smooth operations and compliant handling of PHI and medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication abilities.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; complete required documentation.
• Collect co-pays and fees; log transactions accurately.
• Answer and route incoming calls; provide information as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments; notify staff of changes.
• Orient patients to safety protocols and facility directions.
• Coordinate with back-office for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient PHI and site medications per policy.
• Respect company property and patient financial information.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.

When you join usas a Patient Service Representative , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
• Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
• Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

Pay range is $17-$22 per hour.
