Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) in Covington, WA seeks a full-time, proactive PSR to join our fast-paced clinic. The role focuses on patient services, scheduling, and insurance verification while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process all activity related to OSS’s patient services. Patient service functions include phone calls, scheduling, insurance verification, follow-up, maintaining charts, filing, and communication with referral sources. Performs other daily operating functions associated with the front desk position.
• Manage all aspects of high-volume patient scheduling: verify insurance and obtain authorizations, build and maintain patient charts, collect outstanding payments, balance money nightly, print reports, maintain daily logs, pull charts for next day, make reminder calls, resolve issues, communicate with OSS staff via Outlook, coordinate with billing and treating staff, sort mail daily, and participate in staff meetings.

Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) seeks a full-time, proactive, customer-service-driven PSR to join our fast-paced clinic in Covington.

Additionally, our experienced staff offers comprehensive training and ongoing support.

The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., for a total of 40 hours per week.

Summary of Duties

Process all activity related to OSS’s patient services. Patient service functions include phone calls, scheduling, insurance verification, follow-up, maintaining charts, filing, and communication with referral sources. Performs other daily operating functions associated with the front desk position.

Manage all Aspects of High-Volume Patient Scheduling

• Verify insurance and obtain any required authorizations.
• Build and maintain all patient charts.
• Collect any outstanding patient payments, balance the money nightly, and print reports.
• Maintain daily statistical log sheets that include all follow-ups.
• Pull charts for the next day’s appointments and make reminder calls.
• Work on the patient issue listing and task list daily to resolve all issues.
• Communicate with OSS staff through Outlook email.
• Communicate closely with billing and treating staff to resolve all patient matters.
• Open and sort mail daily.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Participate in educational activities and attend monthly staff meetings.
