Job summary

UCLA Outpatient Clinics in Los Angeles is seeking a patient services liaison. The role supports patients, referring physicians, faculty, and residents, helping navigate surgical services and coordinates care within the health system.

You will manage high volumes of patient messages across channels, assist with check-in and cash collection, and travel between West LA, Santa Monica, and Westwood locations, starting in Santa Monica until West L.A. opens.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison for the patients, outside referring physicians, faculty, and residents/fellows in the practice.
• Assisting patients in accessing and coordinating surgical service within the health system.
• Facilitating communication with referring physicians.
• Referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect.
• Manage a high volume of patient messages entering via multiple avenues.
• Assist with Patient check-in and cash collection
• Travel between our West LA, Santa Monica and Westwood location as needed
• Position starts in the Santa Monica location while awaiting West L.A opening
