Job summary

Select Medical in Davie, FL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome and assist patients at the front desk and support the administrative side of the outpatient PT center. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit, including scheduling, payments, and insurance verifications.

This role emphasizes patient experience and efficient clinic operations. The position offers full-time hours on weekdays with compensation ranging from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• Health Care Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
