Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk check-in/check-out, coordinate appointments, and support the patient journey. You will learn about insurance options and provide a best-in-class optical care experience, reporting to the Office General Manager. Some weekend and evening shifts are required.

No optical experience? No problem; training and tools will be provided to help you learn the industry and deliver top-tier vision care to patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best in class service.
• Ability to learn and explain insurance options to patients during check in/out.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with a personalized check in/out experience.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options during check in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Multitask by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk-ins, scheduling appointments and assisting office staff duties.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver a seamless patient experience.

You Will

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify and educate patients on options as they check in/out for appointments
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability
• Be a multitasker by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk ins, scheduling appointments and assisting office staff duties as needed
• Have the ability to at times cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians (Varies by office needs)
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience

• Computer Savvy with excellent oral and written communication skills
