MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk check-in/out with a focus on a personalized, efficient patient experience. You will learn optical insurance options and support appointment confirmations in partnership with doctors.

Ideal candidates have prior front desk or customer-facing experience and a flexible, patient-centric approach in a fast-paced setting. Weekend/evening shifts may be required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience, ensuring a timely and seamless visit.
• Verify insurance plans and educate patients on options during check in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and outreach in collaboration with clinician availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments, and support office staff.
• Possibility to cross-train to Eyewear Consultants or Optometric Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver a consistent patient experience.

You Will

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify and educate patients on options as they check in/out for appointments
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability
• Be a multitasker by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk ins, scheduling appointments and assisting office staff duties as needed
• Have the ability to at times cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians (Varies by office needs)
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience
