Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to greet patients, register them, and maintain accurate records. You will help ensure timely, accurate patient access and a positive experience by facilitating clear communication between patients and providers.

Working in a fast-paced medical office, you will schedule appointments, respond to inquiries with privacy and safety in mind, and support efficient office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent, OR a minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in a fast-paced medical office highly preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach, with commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients by greeting them, registering patients, and maintaining records.

Job Description

Serve patients by greeting them, answering routine questions, registering patients, and maintaining records and accounts. Responsible for creating a positive patient experience by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers and ensuring efficient office operations. Responsible for scheduling appointments which will provide timely, accurate, friendly, and clinically appropriate patient access. The Patient Service Coordinator responds to incoming correspondence from patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and beyond, in accordance with patient privacy and safety standards.
