Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting patients during their most important health journeys? MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to join our Cardiovascular Surgery team in Portland.
In this vital role, you will be the front-line support for patients undergoing open-heart surgery, assisting them through pre-op testing, surgical scheduling, and post-op appointments. Our surgeons rely heavily on their PSCs , and you’ll play a key role in keeping care moving forward.
Manage complex scheduling and coordination for patient appointments and procedures
Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and providers
Provide administrative and clerical support within a fast-paced clinical environment
Help maintain continuity of care through excellent communication and attention to detail
2+ years of administrative experience in a patient services setting
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping others
Comfort with electronic medical records and scheduling systems
Ability to work onsite with limited remote flexibility after 1 year of onsite training
