Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a full-time Patient Service Coordinator to join our Winter Park surgery center team. You will handle patient check-in/out, EMR data entry, and coordination with providers and insurance. Schedule is Monday to Friday, days, with no weekends or holidays.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Must have at least one year of administrative medical office experience and EMR familiarity; experience in pain management or orthopedics is preferred; must be eligible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is required.
• Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics is strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.
• Satisfactory background check including driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out, entering demographic/insurance information into EMR and collecting copays/balances.
• Coordinate with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain demographic data and obtain authorizations.
• Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and process medical records requests efficiently.

• Work with patients, insurance companies, and providers to maintain demographic information, obtain proper authorizations,
• Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and process medical records requests in an efficient manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, required.
• Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics, strongly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
